The Moon Dancer

This photo series was created on a small island off the coast of Norway while I stayed in an artist residence in January 2021. I was then working on a project to photograph dancers out in the nature during different seasons. Luckily at the residence there was a professional dancer who promised to dance for me by the sea. The dance, the landscape and the light inspired me to create a story about Gertrud, who dances during the full moon. It is a totally fictive story, but led to another project in which I am working on similar stories of my 6 siblings and myself.
