This is a group exhibition by 10 local artists who are concerned about the way trees are treated in our city. We want to make a statement and bring up the importance of trees in the contribution of wellbeing of citizens as well as in making the cities more comfortable areas to live in. We feel that trees are too easily fallen down in private yards, along the streets and city parks. We also want to raise up the issue of the town of Rovaniemi not wanting to protect some certain the old trees which are culturally significant. Along with our art we want stand along with the trees and guard them, it is important. We want to wake up the people of Rovaniemi and start a discussion about the importance of our trees.
