Like always I was again drawn by color at the start of this painting. And as it was spring 2026, I felt drawn towards green. It was interesting to try to find a good combination of greens having enough contrast with one another and creating interesting surfaces. All of a sudden, I had the urge to put Prussian blue somewhere, took a credit card and pulled it across the largest green space. There was Auntie flying across the green sky! To add a bit more humor I decided to put a large red hat on her head.
