I had an idea of covering the canvas completely with portrait photos I had taken many many years ago of a brother and a sister. I thought I would cover them all but leave the eyes peaking out. The idea was great but execution crap. All of a sudden, this Miss Summer Hay started to appear on the painting with overwhelming orange hair. By now it was time to cover the eyes, but I left one pair! Just for something interesting for the viewer to discover.
