I used to be involved in music and played saxophone in a big band for more than 10 years. Therefore, using some sheet music as collage material in paintings was intriguing. This is the second painting in which I used the sheet music, and I liked to make it quite invisible, giving the viewer the moment of discovery. Alongside the music papers I also used a lot of modelling paste and bubble wrap and charcoal to make interesting marks.
