This painting was an interesting process. I first covered the whole canvas with some pages torn from an old book. Nice soft old paper. I then took a sponge and just started spreading the paint. It took may phases and many layers but all the time I had this soft storm like clouds in mind. Eventually I had the clouds of first snow created with still some colored vegetation on the ground. Surprisingly the fells in the background look like Nattaset fells in Sodankylä!
