This exhibition is about the nature and 8 seasons of Lapland. The fragile environment of the north is affected by climate change, industry and tourism. There is increased international interest in the nature and resources of Lapland, but that brings negative side effects. There is very little that us locals can do. Besides having beautiful images of nature, this exhibition reflects on these issues.

The artists are painters Helena Aula, Liisa Halonen-Laiti, Ulla Hoikka, Kati Kanto, Martta Niemi, Liisa Niska-Mölläri, Anja Schumann, Tuomo Tiensuu, Teija Välimaa and Suoma Yli-Suvanto, with photographer Kaisa Siren and sculptor Raimo Yli-Suvanto.
